A skilled software developer is required to join an established security focussed organisation that is looking to expand their skilled development team. The successful candidate will be working with a Development team to enhance and maintain their highly scalable web based applications – As part of this, the software developer will take part in feature and maintenance development in the Core User Interface stack, requiring proficient technical skill and creativity.

The successful candidate will work with a range of cutting edge technologies and will have the opportunity for extensive training in next gen development, the company would help extensively by training, learning on the job and while working on projects.

* Proven experience developing enterprise web applications with Object Oriented PHP
* Solid experience with Javascript libraries and MV* frameworks, and thorough knowledge of HTML and CSS
* Experience developing applications that communicate with MySQL
* Experience using Puppet
* Any experience developing web applications against REST, SOAP, or XML-RPC APIs

Ideally candidates will have a strong understanding of web standards, design patterns, who is interested in joining a company who are on the forefront of new technologies as well as someone who wants to work as an integral part of a multi-talented team of designers, engineers, and professionals that use comprehensive research into cognition, usability, and patterns.

The successful candidate is expected to take ownership of tasks. This will be an interesting and varied role however responsibilities will include –
* Work and collaborate with Architect, Product and Team Leads to understand current behaviour and design in order to triage issues and implement features that ensure the satisfaction of customers
* Work independently to implement complex solutions for customer requests and issue resolution
* Ensure quality of solution through the creation of unit tests in addition to functional testing
* Participate in peer code reviews
* Participate in product releases
