Graduate Pr Trainee

Graduate Trainee Public Relations Account Executive required for a busy and involving role. This is a six month contract initially, but it is likely that the role will become permanent at the end of this time. There is great scope for progression in this highly professional and successful agency. You must have a 2:1 or first class degree in any discipline and be able to demonstrate clearly why you are genuinely focused on a career with PR. A keen interest in current affairs and politics is essential. You will be very hardworking and keen to climb the career ladder.

Specific duties include:

* Liaise with clients across a range of industries
* Write press features and press releases to an extremely high standard
* Liaise with the media, organise meetings and help to develop positive relationships
* Carry out research and get involved in political engagement
* Use your persuasive skills to “sell in” press releases to the media
* Handle telephone enquiries
* Deal with administrative tasks
* Assist in organising press events and attend exhibitions

Salary: 16,000 – 18,000 depending upon experience. Additional benefits are offered on top of the basic salary.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
