Job Salary: circa. £26,000
Job Location: Huddersfield (commutable from Leeds, North Manchester, Bradford, Halifax, Barnsley, Wakefield)
Our client is a packaging manufacturer. As part of their expansion plans they are looking to take on a Mechanical Engineering graduate in a Mechanical Design Engineer job capacity to work on tool and product design.
The company offers the successful candidate an opportunity to gain hands on experience within tool design and the advantage of learning from experienced team members who can offer expert support in order for you to fulfil your career development within mechanical design engineering.
The job is suited to an enthusiastic, meticulously organised and adaptable graduate with 2D and 3D CAD skills and an understanding of fluid dynamics.
Job Requirements:
* A minimum 2.1 degree (or predicted) in Mechanical Engineering
* Proven 2D and 3D CAD skills
* An understanding of fluid dynamics
* Proven organisational skills
* Understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
