A two-term Learning Support Assistant position has arisen in one of my client Primary Schools located in Oldham, Greater Manchester. This position would suit an ambitious Psychology Graduate who will thrive working with children with varying barriers to learning.

This is a lovely Primary with supportive staff and encouraging parents. Children here, on the whole, respond well with their teaching and learning. Some children require additional support and this is where you come in..

Your main focus is to work children who are not quite where they need to be in terms of age-related expectations. You will have full guidance from the class teacher and you will be identifying if they have underlying barriers to prohibit their progression.

This is full-time position for two terms with the opportunity for it to be extended until the end of the academic year.
