THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an IT business located in Shepherds Bush who is expanding due to the continued success of the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Graduate Marketing Assistant to join this fast growing business that provides cutting edge technology solutions to businesses throughout the UK.

Working closely with the CEO you will be involved in devising, implement and delivering the companies sales & marketing plan. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for running the day-to-day marketing activity whilst working closely with the Sales Manager to ensure ROI.

This is a truly autonomous position that will give the appointed individual a huge opportunity to build a long term career with the business.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the marketing function within the business
Responsible for annual marketing budget and ensuring ROI
Hands-on management of all group marketing activities
Creating and delivering effective designs & design briefs to external agencies
Writing copy for Press Releases and General marketing collateral
Building relationships with external media organisations and raising the profile of the business via press releases and awards
Organising and delivering exhibitions
Identifying and registering for awards ceremonies
Management of all social media channels, Emarketing and Direct Mail
Supporting the sales department with Bids & Tender applications
Updating and maintaining the group websites using CMS
Working to agreed budgets and tight deadlines

THE CANDIDATE:

Essential

Graduate in Marketing
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to select eye catching marketing content/designs
Ability to create and deliver effective briefs to external agencies
Highly computer literate with key MS packages and Design programs
Experience of managing / updating WordPress websites Desirable
