Graduate Building Surveyor / CAD Technician | £24,000 – £30,000 | Essex | Residential | Permanent
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor / CAD Technician to embark upon a career with a forward thinking and award winning developer undertaking complex, challenging and exciting residential projects.
The postholder will be presented with the opportunity to work with the technical and conservation team on a day to day basis, assisting in the proposals and repair schedules submitted for planning, including taking an integral role in monitoring and auditing design, initial procurement, construction, paperwork and procedures in line with new site acquisitions.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Making up hand written drawings / notes into presentable CAD format
- Marking up repairs drawings
- Condition surveys
- Services Drawings
- Assisting the technical and conservation manager and team
- Report writing
Requirements:
We are looking for a confident individual with strong analytical and numeracy skills. A first class communicator with the determination to be the best they can possibly be. Somebody with a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
A degree qualification (ideally 2:1 or above) in a construction / property related discipline is required for this role.
