Graduate Ratings / Commercial Building Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for my client, based local to Preston, for a Graduate Ratings/Commercial Surveyor to join their team. The company are well-established with multiple offices across the North West of England cover property valuations and building surveys, including homebuyers report and defect diagnosis.

As a graduate ratings/commercial surveyor, our client is looking for someone who has a genuine interest in the commercial property arena, although there will be some residential aspects but not much, and has a degree that is acceptable to the RICS

Based out of offices local to Preston, for the next 2 to 3 years you would shadow the ratings and commercial valuers in order to learn and become skilled in all things commercial.

The long term aim of our client is to get you to the stage where you are able to do the bulk of the ratings/commercial work that comes through

The role has come about due to work load and expansion and it is a great time to join the company. You will be working on a variety of projects from commercial in the main as well as high end residential and bespoke residential.

Ideally my client is looking for people with an estates management degree or a building surveying degree and at least a year’s estate management experience.

The company is very friendly and flexible and if you are a team player with a good work ethic, you will be developed, trained and be provided with the opportunity to obtain chartered status.

If you have minimum of 12 months` experience of estate management, the relevant degree (or equivalent) and are looking for a role where you can learn, develop your skills and work in a friendly team and want to obtain chartered status, then this is the role for you!
