Goods Inbound Operator

Our client an award winning company based in Burnley are looking to recruit a goods inbound operative to join there innovative, dynamic workforce. Day to day duties will include the following;

• To ensure all customer returns & inbound goods and materials are processed in line with set procedures.
• To liaise with relevant Company departments concerning incoming deliveries and returns.
• To carry out all stock receipting of inbound products and customer returns in accordance with specified timescales.
• Liaise with Company departments to ensure customer concerns are investigated and dealt with in accordance with Company policy.
• To ensure material handling, both mechanical and manual is carried out efficiently and safely.
• To take ownership of the stores area and maintain stock control.
• Communicate effectively to all levels within the business.
• To promote and implement relevant Company policies and procedures.
• To liaise with colleagues and superiors on day to day duties and issues.

Person Specification

Our clients are looking for a strong character with following:
• FLT Licence (Counterbalance, Side Loader)
• Minimum 2-3 year experience in a similar position.
• Stock Receipting
• Computer literate- Excel.
• Excellent customer service skills both internal and external.
• Maintain all Health, Safety, C.O.S.H.H. and environmental standards within the workplace and adhere to all Company working practices.
• Ability to work & adapt under pressure during periods of increased productivity.
• To maintain a flexible and enthusiastic approach to Company matters, upholding the company Values at all times.
