Salary: £29,812 per year

2BM Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with our client in Sheffield who have a permanent requirement for a Machine Operator. Full time role working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday on rotating Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts. Excellent opportunity to join an established successful Engineering / Manufacturing company that offers full training, overtime and additional bonus opportunities and excellent benefits.

Job Details:

As a Permanent Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the day to day running of multiple production machines. Duties will include: Ensuring that your machine is running to full capacity to meet production targets and deadlines. Loading / unloading and operating multiple machines and reporting any issues to your team leader. Working as part of the production team to achieve targets and maximise productivity and bonus. Ensuring that you always operate within the company’s health and safety procedures. 

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes.

You will ideally have previous experience of working as a machinist within an engineering shop floor environment. However, full training is available if you are a standout candidate that is keen and eager to work as a Machinist within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment. Applicants must have previous work experience that includes following company health and safety procedures. You will have a positive can-do attitude and be a team player that is self-motivated and driven. Candidates must have the ability to follow processes and follow instruction whilst always working safely. 

Your Pay & Benefits:

Machine Operator paying a starting salary £29,811.6.00 per annum plus premium overtime rates and additional bonus. Following structured training you will receive full bonus and the potential to earn additional hourly bonus based on team and individual machine productivity. Working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday on 3 rotating shifts: Mornings 6am until 2pm, Afternoons 2pm until 10pm and Nights 10pm until 6am. Excellent benefits package including 33 days holiday (inc 8 bank holidays) increasing to 37 with loyal service, Westfield, 5% contributory pension, death in service benefit & full training.
