Salary: £72,000 – £84,000 per year

Job description

The Head of HR and Culture will provide strategic and operational leadership across this global agency. They will have significant experience of working in a generalist role with a particular depth of knowledge in employee relations, employment law, organisational change and people processes and policies. Reporting in the Operations Director, they will also have responsibility for employee engagement, learning and development, DE&I and culture.

Working with:

· Internal: All departments and teams across the agency.

· Global Human Resources team

· External: Payroll providers, benefit brokers and providers, legal advisors and visa and immigration experts.

· Will report into the Operations Director.

· They have line management responsibility for HR and Culture Manager, being accountable for their performance and providing them with professional development opportunities.

Responsible for:

· Taking a lead role in helping to nurture and transform the culture fit for an agency of the future and the hybrid world.

· Have both a strategic understanding and a hands-on approach to people agendas and best in class practices, covering areas in the employee experience.

· Providing leaders and managers with honest, pragmatic and accurate HR support to enable the business to achieve its aims.

· Develop and execute a people strategy that facilitates and supports growth.

· Manage and enhance the employee experience in partnership with the HR and Culture Manager through implementing initiatives for attraction, onboarding, off boarding, learning and development, reward, recognition, retention, policies and procedures, comp and benefits, and performance management.

· Proactively assessing current processes and practices, and suggesting alternatives to the Exec Board.

· Managing the visa and global transfer process, when applicable.

· Coaching managers and leading the legal process, and assessing risk on a range of people policies and complex ER cases, such as grievance, disciplinary and flexible working cases; balancing business need and a fair Employee Relations process.

· Leading and ensuring a consistent and measured approach in all people-related matters with compliance with current employment legislation.

· Assessing, designing and rolling out HR people processes, procedures and policies, to ensure that employees and manager receive a seamless HR service.

· DE&I, Talent Management, Change Management, Employee Relations, L&D and Comps and Bens.

· May partner with global HR teams, and implement global initiatives, on a local basis, as required.

Desired Experience;

· Agency experience is a must.

· 6+ years of progressive HR experience.

· Excellent communicator, who is comfortable leading uncertain and tricky conversations with patience, tact and empathy.

· Well versed in HR practice with a sound grasp of current employment law and can practically apply this advice.

· Can be full or part CIPD qualified and continuing with their professional studies, but not essential.
