The Company & Role:

One of the UK’s largest publishers based in Colchester with an impressive stable of magazines and digital offerings are expanding one of their most profitable sectors and are seeking an experienced Advertising Manager to join their team.

As Adverting Sales Manager your role will be to generate magazine revenue through advertising opportunities both in print and online. 85% of the role will be managing customers via the telephone

Duties and Responsibilities of Advertising Sales Manager:

To generate advertising revenue
Speak and build rapport with new and existing advertisers
Build bespoke proposals for new and existing advertisers
Chase artwork and proof where necessary
Maintain and manage and grow CRM system
Achieve key KPI’s
Build and present multi-channel proposals to clients divisions.
To build the brand, delivering new ideas and concepts
To represent The Teach Company at management level
To report to the Group Manager on a regular basis
To deliver growth across our digital portfolio
To represent the brand at trade shows
Skills Required:

Sales experience preferably from a media or educational background
Excellent telephone manner
Self-motivated
Ability to build rapport quickly
Great customer service/ relation skills
Team work and leadership skills
Strong time management
Videoconferencing
