General Manager – Large Car Dealership in Gloucester

We are currently recruiting for a high calibre and proven General Manager for our clients large car dealership in Gloucester.

Challenge – This site has large sales and aftersales operations. We are looking for a leader, someone who can look to develop all elements of a business. Big challenge with a reputable company. OTE 100k (opportunity to exceed this figure)

Role:
You will be responsible for the Sales, Service, Parts, Fleet and Administration departments. This position is with a well-established dealership so the right individual must have a solid career history, a proven knowledge of how to run a successful main dealership while able to work closely with directors & the manufacturer.

We are looking for someone who can develop a team using strong management skills while leading from the front, good motivational methods together with good “housekeeping” skills are also critical.

You will be reporting directly to the director to ensure the smooth running and delivery of key criteria to the customers. Support from directors and the brand will be readily available.

Experience needed:
The right applicant must have a solid background as a General Manager / Dealer Principal / Head of Business / Brand Manager within a franchise car dealership.

Salary: 70k OTE 100k company car & various company benefits – Realistic OTE – May be negotiable for the right individual
