Salary: £30,000 – £38,400 per year
Functional Test Analyst / Software Tester / Sheffield / £25-32k + benefits
A new opportunity has recently opened up with a client in central Sheffield for a Software Test Engineer / Functional Test Analyst / Software Tester to join an expanding IT company to work on an exciting new project. This software services organisation have experienced consistent growth over the last 6 months and are now seeking another talented member for the QA and testing department.
You should have commercial experience with testing web / windows based services / applications as well working in an Agile environment (desirable).
Responsibilities will include:
* Testing that covers the full SDLC in an agile environment
* Using test management and defect tracking tools
* Working to tight deadlines
* Working on multiple projects simultaneously
* Authoring test plans and test cases
Required experience includes but is not limited to:
* End-to-end testing
* Functional testing
* Testing web and windows applications
* Scripted and exploratory testing techniques
* Knowledge of automation testing techniques
* Experience with commercial Test Management / Defect tracking tools e.g. (TFS, MTM, Jira, HPQC/ALM
Desirable skills and experiences includes:
* Automation testing (Selenium, QTP, Cucumber, Gherkin)
* Performance testing
* Regression testing
Very rarely you will be required to travel to client site and the offices are commutable from Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Worksop and the surrounding towns.
