Salary: £26,000 – £36,000 per year
IBP are excited to be recruiting for an experienced and driven Project Coordinator who will work alongside the Network Delivery Manager. The Project Coordinator will coordinate projects that deliver FTTP network roll-outs across The Midlands. The FTTP Project Coordinator will help to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the agreed budget.
The main duties include the responsibility for the following:
Coordinating agreed activities varying work streams in a controlled manner to achieve a successful outcome of projects and overarching company objectives
Ensuring full visibility of activity, costs and risks across all areas of the project
Assisting the Delivery Manager to define the project scope, project activities and dates, involving all relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
Coordinating the project activities by working with all stakeholders to enable flawless execution of the project
Monitoring and tracking project progress against the detailed project plan – identifying risk and supporting the Project Manager in identifying mitigation activities
Executing mitigation plans to minimise project risks and reporting on the status when required
Reporting changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques and in accordance with company management strategies, policies and plans.
Management of all permit requests, receiving and monitoring all jobs through to completion.
Ensure all necessary street works permits are notified in line with guidance.
Submit permits and notices & liaising with the programme management team & project supervisors notifying them of road space bookings.
Maintain and promote relationships with the LA.
Submit traffic management notifications & Temporary Traffic orders.
Request permit extensions when required.
Attend contract delivery meetings with the clients as required.
Ensuring we achieve all relevant SLA’s in line with the delivery and performance.
Daily coordination with the Networks Supervisors
NRSWA Coordination
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and environmental policies
Supporting Operations with admin duties, filing, photocopying, scanning, creating work packs etc
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills & qualifications:
Effective communication skills.
Proven track record of delivery networks
Self-motivated, able to motivate others effectively and work as part of a team
Good interpersonal skills
Results orientated
Awareness of Customer Satisfaction for both internal and external sources.
Accepts and stimulate change within working environment
Good administration & communications skills. Analytical approach to tasks
MS Excel, Project, Word and PowerPoint skills to intermediate level or above
Previous relative experience in a similar role within the telecommunications/utilities industry would be considered advantageous
NRSWA knowledge preferable
Awareness of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Procedures, Roads Construction Design Management Regulations would be considered advantageous.
