Kenna Recruitment are currently looking to speak with experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor’s for a residential project based in West London.
Our client, a residential main contractor who specialise in apartment block housing built to a good quality spec. They employ over 200 people across the South East of England and have a good reputation within the industry. About 50% of their work is private and the other half is working in partnership with Housing Associations.
The project is a 7 story RC frame block with 50+ units being built over the next 9 months for a private client. The frame is up and facade is currently being installed. This is in close proximity to a major London Railway Hub so daily commuting should be no issue.
They seek an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to come in for 6/9 months and deal with internal trade packages for the whole scheme. They must be a confident individual and capable of negotiation with sub contractors.
This is an immediate role so they will consider a freelance option – They have confirmed it will be deemed outside of IR35
The Ideal candidate will
– At least 7 years experience in the residential market
– Be capable of running a £25m project+
– Have experienced dealing with large internal packages.
– Degree Qualified (Quantity Surveying or equivalent)
