Insurance Fraud, Assistant Analyst
c£20,000 + excellent benefits

Newly created opportunity arising from business expansion, with a leading Personal Lines Insurance group.
Assisting in the collating of data and intelligence to provide input into high quality reports in respect of detection and prevention of potential fraud and financial crime, supporting both underwriting and claims operations.
The group has extensive relationships with key intelligence sources, insurers and industry bodies.
They utilize market leading Insurance fraud detection systems, and participate actively in intelligence and data sharing.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with:
daily review of SIRA fraud detention systems, and determining action to be taken
investigation of cases of potential fraud, and making recommendations for further action, including for more complex cases.
responding to enquiries from other SIRA members.
collating and updating intelligence data on systems.
Experience/skills required:
A good foundation knowledge of Insurance fraud prevention/financial crime risk management procedures, gained from working within the Personal Lines Insurance sector – Insurer or Broker background.
An understanding of Insurance fraud detection/data base management systems.
Strong IT skills/aptitude. Knoweldge of Insurance fraud systems is an advantage – eg: Hunter, or SIRA or CIFAS.
Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Strong numerical skills.
Strong communication skills.
