As we are on the lookout for ­­an experienced FP&A Accountant to join our Finance department in our dynamic Kings Hill, Kent office.

Things you should know:

The role of the FP&A Accountant is to provide and subsequently interrogate costs and ensure financial reporting of such transactions is accurate, and to support responsible Stakeholders with cost control, reporting, budgeting, and analysis as well as targeting opportunities for cost reductions.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

* Provide accurate monthly reporting and analysis of Business unit and / or Functional overheads, to line manager, overhead owners and Functional leads as required.

* Ensure ownership of the Business unit and / or Functional overheads and budgets and targets and to measure performance monthly.

* Support colleagues across the Group in a comprehensive review of costs and identification and realisation of cost reductions.

* Support and provide detailed inputs and analysis as required for the regular forecasting and budgeting exercise for the Cabot Group to ensure forecast costs are realistic and robust.

* Review and assess current management reporting outputs and enhance reporting package as required to meet stakeholder needs. Develop internal processes to enable production with minimal manual intervention and on a timely basis.

* To support the FP&A team in Capex reporting, control, and budgeting.

Things we need from you:

* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA), with preferably 3 years + PQE

* High Excel literacy.

* Good analytical and communication skills.

* Must have the ability to prioritise and respond quickly to the needs of the business.

* Must be an excellent team player with a flexible approach.

* Financial Services and SUN systems / Workday experience advantageous.

* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

* High level of communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel and management.
