Our client is a leading Financial Services organisation who is looking for a Financial Planning Risk Analyst based in their (head) office in Swindon, Wiltshire.

We need:

A Financial Planning Risk Analyst in our head offices in Swindon
£24,431 – £31,218 a year on a permanent contract. As a Financial Planning Risk Analyst you’ll help us improve our strategy further by ensuring portfolio impairments are well understood, feeding valuable insight back into the business to help shape future credit strategy.

Responsibilities of the Financial Planning Risk Analyst

You’ll need to:

Have a strong quantitative degree (a 2:1 or above),
Demonstrate the ability to approach complex problems and apply a logical method to draw out appropriate insight,
Be comfortable working both autonomously on individual projects and as part of a larger team,
Demonstrate experience in analytical tools such as SAS,
Have excellent time management skills,
Good communication and influencing skills,
Risk management experience preferable, including areas of portfolio forecasting and credit risk assessment,
An understanding of our organisation and the products we offer would be advantageous.Key Skills / personal traits required when applying for the Financial Planning Risk Analyst

Under the guidance of the Senior Analyst, you’ll help to:

Report and forecast the risk performance of all our Retail portfolios,
Provide valuable insight into historic and emerging portfolio trends,
Communicate portfolio performance to Senior Management,
