Salary: £84,000 per year
My client is an Privately owned Alternative Investment Fund who operate within the real estate space, they have over £700m AUM across various asset classes. Due to planned growth they have created a new role and now require a Financial Controller to join them to manage Internal and external reporting, project and transaction work. Salary up to £70,000 with an attractive bonus.
Responsibilities will include:
* Financial reporting and administrative matters for all fund and corporate structures.
* Lead responsibility for supporting group fund management operations
* Key contact for service providers, including planning, coordination and oversight of their deliverables.
* Monthly and Quarterly financial reporting of investment structures, including IFRS consolidation, project management and review of other deliverables.
* Assistance with project related work, including organisational, system or technical projects (I.e. restructuring, taxation etc.).
* Assistance with ad-hoc business or investor queries.
This role will suit a qualified accountant who has a demonstrable track record within the private equity/real estate sector and comes from an audit background. You will have excellent IFRS reporting knowledge, you will be well versed in dealing with non finance professionals, internal and external stakeholders.
