Financial Accountant

Salary: £45,600 – £55,200 per year

The company are looking for a Financial Accountant to come in and make the role their own, improving the efficiency of the company whilst progressing in their career.

Purpose

* Responsibility for the Financial Accounting function
* Manage the Treasury function
* Ensure accuracy of the trial balance
* Manage the financial accounts team to improve systems and develop staff capabilities

Principal Accountabilities:

* Accuracy of the trial balance
* Cash management and forecasting
* Treasury management
* Purchase ledger
* Sales ledger
* Invoice discounting facility
* Foreign currency exposure management
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* VAT return
* Control of capital expenditure
* To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Financial Controller or other Senior Manager.

Qualifications/Education required:
Qualified Accountant

Experience required:
Team Player
Ability to work well under pressure
Can demonstrate the ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to demonstrate an ability to maintain quality and integrity of data
Organised nature
Ability to manage and develop others
Ability to delegate whilst retaining ownership and control

Specialist training:
Good Excel skills
