Field Support Engineer

Experienced Field Support Engineer required! If you have excellent hands-on Field Support experience and an excellent customer-facing persona then we would love to hear from you. Our client are a leading name in their industry and are seeking a Field Support Engineer to join their expanding team based in Royston, this role will require you to travel internationally to install, fix and maintain a range of company equipment at client sites around the world. Please note that this Field Support Engineer position will require the successful candidate to be travelling up to 60% of the time, the rest of the time the engineer will be expected to remain on-site in Royston. All applicants must be willing and able to travel internationally and unrestricted sometimes at short notice.

Key accountabilities:
• Assist our customers to achieve high standards of installation, commissioning, repair and training on our equipment.
• Assist the design departments to identify and implement cost-effective equipment modifications.
• Working as part of a busy, multi-skilled service department.
• Assist the on-site production and quality departments when required.

Person specification:
• Previous experience providing hands-on service and maintenance functions on high-value capital equipment machinery incorporating electrical and mechanical systems & components.
• Ability and willingness to travel at short-notice internationally to customer sites.
• Valid passport with no travel restrictions.
