Skillection are working with their Bradford based client assisting them with the recruitment of a Field Service Engineer for their business who can install, service and maintain Pipework/Pumps.

Please note the role does involve working away from home, and you will be generally be away from home Monday – Friday most weeks of the year. 

Fuels/mechanical engineer

Installation and removal of pipework, tanks and pumping systems. Problem solving.

Commissioning of installations.

Working in teams reporting to Contract/ Project Manager to complete engineering projects

Ensuring that projects are completed within agreed deadlines and costs whilst meeting contractual requirements to commercial, technical and safety standards.

Supporting Civils and Electrical Engineers.

Complying with RAMS and health and safety at all times (working to strict requirements).

Essential Requirements:

Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have significant relevant experience.

Background in the inspection, assessment and maintenance of pipelines / pipework.

Proven experience of pipe installation.

Full, clean driving licence.

Be capable of obtaining (or already have) high level security clearances.

Strong work ethic and willing to learn from others.

Must be willing to work away from home during working week.

Competent in working to RAMS.

Experienced or capable of working to high standard of H&S requirements including 5 point PPE

Beneficial:

Experience and knowledge of the installation, inspection and testing of Commercial heating and pipework systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of basic civils and electric works.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience of working with fuel.

Understanding of CAD.
