Factory Manager

Salary: £48,000 per year

We are currently looking to recruit a Factory Manager to lead the Operations and Maintenance departments for a company within Newark area.

will be responsible for approx 100 shopfloor staff and supervisory staff of 15 and a maintenance team of 6. You will report into the MD and Engineering Director.

Required Skills and Experience

Demonstrable management experience within a technical business

Lean knowledge / qualifications such as Black belt / Green belt

Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and able to motivate and direct a team

Must be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads

Provide support, direction via training, guidance and leadership to ensure teams are developed

Deliver and attend briefings to ensure effective communication is maintained at all times

An understanding of Quality, Environment and Health and Safety Management Systems

This role is working largely Monday to Friday however in some instances you may need to be available to see people who work on shifts.

Salary £48,000 plus production bonus
