This opportunity is to manage 6 staff and would suit someone who is looking for their first direct management role, progressing perhaps from a Supervisor, Team Leader, Assistant Managers position currently. This is very much a “hands-on” position, and we are seeking a pragmatic person with strong leadership capabilities, happy to work with the team when needed to get he job done.

Your previous experience will encompass Production, H&S, Site/Depot Management, Distribution and Stock Management to ensure scheduled deliveries. My client is a specialist global producer and supplier of industrial and medical gasses.

Co-ordination and planning of production schedules, shift patterns and resources, KPI setting and monitoring, along with objective setting and the management of the site operatives are core responsibilities required in the position.
Manage the facility in order to be compliant with all UK regulations as well as IMS policies.
The basis of the position is to ensure that all quality and production procedures are formalised and followed
The scope of the position also encompassing all requirements to ensure the safe, efficient and cost effective running of the filling plant/depot and associated distribution activities.
Know the entity HSE/IMS policy, standards and procedures
Responsible for all production, transportation and maintenance staff working at the production site, including contractors.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
