Due to internal promotion we now have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join a busy sales support team. The company is a leading construction company based in Kettering.

The Role:
You will join a dynamic team in providing estimations and costing support to the sales function, liaising directly with clients for pricing information and enquiries.

Duties will include:-
Managing of pricing enquiries.
Participate in administrative tasks such as; Emails coming into the main Estimating inbox, booking enquiries/new activities onto the internal database and the up-keep of project records.
Answering estimating queries on the telephone.
Work with colleagues to manage, track and close projects.
Visiting customers with the Sales Manager, at their own premises or at site, to secure specification / order.
Support the Internal & External Sales Teams with any departmental assistance they may require.

The Candidate:-
Ideally a working knowledge of the Construction / Buildings / Utilities / Water industry, although not essential, would also suit a recent graduate looking for a career starter
Confident and accurate communication skills.
Reporting and analysing ability is a key requirement of this role.
Sound commercial acumen and an ability to communicate with colleagues and customers to assist the closing of sales opportunities.
Confident IT skills and proficient in Microsoft products (including Excel). If you have CAD experience this would also be beneficial.
