Estimator

Salary: £42,000 per year

We are recruiting for an Estimator in Slough on behalf of a Landscaping company that work on projects in and around London. On offer is a salary of up to £42,000 per year which is negotiable based on experience, four weeks holiday and a pension scheme.

The Estimator will join an established team and be working alongside colleagues to prepare and submit landscaping tenders that can range in value from £10,000 to £5,000,000+.

The Estimator will be:

• Measuring PDF drawings, producing tender documents and detailed hard and soft landscaping bills of quantities.
• As required attending site visits and tender meetings.
• Developing and nurturing strong and professional relationships with existing and new clients, liaising with them for updates on bid submissions.

You will need to be:

• Educated to Degree / OND / HND or similar in construction, quantity surveying, hard or soft landscape construction. (If you have any horticulture related qualification or experience that would be desirable.)
• Experienced in the preparation and submission of soft landscaping, hard landscaping, civils or groundwork tenders.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office as well as Take Off and Estimating software packages.
• Meticulous in your approach to your work, driven, motivated and experienced at managing both current estimating workload and existing and concurrently running projects.
