Estimator

Salary: £27,000 – £33,600 per year

We are currently seeking an Estimator for a control panel manufacturer, the position could suit someone who has previously worked on the tools as a Panel Wirer but is ready for a new challenge. Training will be given to someone who satisfies the basic criteria to enable you to develop your knowledge and capability further.

Job Description

Joining an established team, the estimator will work with both the sales and engineering teams to:

• Interpret customer requirements and specifications to develop robust, high-quality proposals that address customer needs and secure business;
• Maintain a high-level of customer service at all times, to facilitate repeat business;
• Develop and sustain long-lasting customer relationships through excellent communication skills, to deliver high-levels of customer satisfaction; and,
• Contribute to the marketing and business development process within the company, to support business growth.

Basic candidate criteria:

• Familiar operating in a technical environment.
• Able to interpret specifications and read electrical engineering drawings
• Good at problem solving
• Numerate with good computer skills and able to use Office software such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
• A positive nature
• Enthusiastic
• Willingness to sell
• Strong understanding of customer focus
