Estimator

Salary: £85,200 – £96,000 per year

Home Counties Regional Groundworks & RC Frame Contractor is hiring an intermediate Estimator to work alongside an Estimation Manager in the Head office.

Joining at this exciting early stage as this sub contractor has received a significant investment in plant and manpower as it looks to take the step from regional sub contractor into the national market.

He or she will be expected to the roll the sleeves up and get in volved in an array of preconstruction / pricing activties from tenders, pricing, visiting prospect sites, reviewing construction methods for bids, programs and assising risk. 

You will have the ability to price from 1st principles be that earthworks, drainage or Reinforced Concrete Structures.

What are client is seeking from interested individuals 

• A key strength within civil engineering & self delivery projects 
• Some experience to bidding within the groundworks and RC sector 
• Strong communication skills and able to client face when needed 
• Open to whether you come from an Engineer or QS background as long as you have the technical knowledge needed 
• Can you defend a tender & bid when needed from management or the client?
