Estimator

Salary: £54,000 – £66,000 per year

SEE Services are currently seeking an Estimator to join the Building Division.

See Services is one of the fastest growing privately owned Building and M&E companies in the UK. It has expanded and diversified to become a leading provider of Facilities Management services on a national scale as well.

Due to our growing business, we are looking for an Estimator to join our team based in Hainault. The type of projects you shall be estimating are ‘small works”. This means you shall be working on a large number of projects and they shall need to be completed within a short time frame.

Key Responsibilities

Provide estimating and pricing support;
Preparing timely and accurate quotations based on Contract customer requirements;
Prepare presentation packs for tenders’ submissions;
Working closely with management to develop new ways of working for solving problems and improving the customer journey and experience;
Working with numerous internal teams to resolve various issues in a timely manner;
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Essential

Degree/HNC in Construction/Building or equivalent (comparable experience considered)

Ideally you will have a General Building background i.e.; Building, Refurb, Brickwork, Painting & Decorating with around 5 years experience.

Working knowledge of schedule of rates;
Strong negotiation and communication skills;
Sufficient Building experience;
Ambitious with high aspirations;
Excellent numerate skills;
Excellent time management and organisational skills;
Proficient in the use of IT platforms, Outlook, Word, Excel;
Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
