My friendly, expanding client are seeking to recruit a Systems Administrator to progress within their successful Ripley / Derby based business. The Systems Administrator will manage their MRP system and provide user support. The other elements of the role will be around providing reporting options and data insights.

Overall Purpose:

To manage and maintain the full range of business systems on-site in conjunction with 3rd party support providers. This will include implementation of new systems, maintenance of existing systems and supporting the business with data reporting.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a systems admin role, responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of company-wide systems with a view to continually improve the user experience and information provision to the wider business.

Main Duties:

• Day to day maintenance and monitoring of the company MRP system
• Upkeep of all IT equipment in conjunction with 3rd party support team
• Development of reporting options to support all facets of the business
• Work with the Production Manager to identify and instigate ways to streamline production data
• Support of all users with software and hardware issues
• Ensure system manuals are available for all processes
• Maintain company hardware to support the ongoing business growth
• Support the Change Management plan with system improvements and user training.

Experience:

• Minimum 2yrs experience and responsibility for a (SME) IT infrastructure
• MRP/ERP system integration experience (preferred)
• Confident in supporting IT assets in a (clean) production environment
• Debugging/error-checking business systems
• Identification and provision of IT hardware options
• Able to manage User setup and comfortable offering system training.

Education:

• 2:1 Degree in IT/Business Systems related subject – ideally
