Engineering Spare Parts Warehouse Assistant

Spare Parts warehouse role supports manufacturing facilities by supplying key engineering parts to our engineering teams to ensure preventative maintenance and to overcome any breakdowns to our machinery

·Experience in a manufacturing / warehouse environment with office admin skills and previous experience with engineering spare parts is essential. Knowledge of SAP software and FLT driving experience is desirable.

·Ensure the availability of spare parts in accordance with stock control of “goods in and goods out” and maintain stock accuracy in the warehouse

You will need to guarantee a correct and efficient development of administrative processes concerning activities related to the stock control, purchase and procurement of spare parts

·Support the Purchasing Manager/Officer in the management of relationships with suppliers and key service providers

You will also need to Support the Purchasing Manager/Officer in the negotiation of prices and purchasing conditions in accordance with the Group guidelines and procedures

Goods IN (stock control),·Goods OUT (stock control)

·Purchasing Admin,obtaining quotes.You must be hands-on with great communication and I.T skills to work on their own initiative and in a team environment in the Engineering Spare Parts Warehouse

In order to fulfil the above, the candidate must have good admin skills, exposure to warehouse conditions, good IT skills (SAP is desirable), good communication skills, and preferably some commercial background in purchasing or procurement (is desirable)
