Salary: £60,000 per year
Site Engineering Manager, WF, package; Up to C £50,000 + car allowance, enhanced pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday + BH. Days Mon – Fri.
Arlington Moore Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly respected food manufacturing business who continues to expand and flourish. They are now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager for their busy site in the Wakefield area.

Reporting to the Site General Manager the Engineering Manager will be responsible for the following.
* Managing engineering maintenance and facilities procedures and ensuring risk and method statements are compliant with current legislation
* Management of an engineering maintenance team; direct and indirect reports
* Leading continuous improvement activities and ensuring production plant machinery works for the business
* Management of site maintenance budgets
* Reviewing engineering competency and ensuring training and development plans are implemented to meet the business needs
* Developing and implementing robust PPM systems
* Heading OEE loss production programmes
* Mentoring site managers on engineering issues
Successful Engineering Manager candidates should have the following.
* Qualified in a related engineering discipline
* Fast moving factory-based experience, ideally food
* Experience of engineering (projects and maintenance) within a production environment
* Continuous improvement tools and techniques
* TPM methodology awareness
* Predictive maintenance techniques
* People management & Coaching experience
* Customer Focus
