Engineering Manager (75k)

A Media Management Systems Company in Berkshire is looking for a new Engineering Manager to join their rapidly evolving team. My client is currently experiencing a company re-image by impacting a new life and passion within the employees and products being produced. They have introduced a new fresh culture to help improve the development of technology and customer experience. After a large influx of funding, my client is planning the release of a range of new exciting niche products to be created by their growing talents team of Engineers, for worldwide clients in Sydney, New York, Tokyo, Dubai and more!

The successful Engineering Manager will:
* Work with the closely with Product Management and the Marketing Team
* Working in a client-facing position to gather requirements for niche products
* Manage both local and remote development teams
* Investigate and implement suitable design tools
* Work 60-70% hands-on through the project life-cycle when coding and testing
* Handle elements of software development recruitment

Skills required for the Engineering Manager include:
* Significant C#.Net experience
* Design Patterns and/or Object-Orientated Design skills
* Test-Drive Development
* Web based technologies (HTML5, Javascript)
* Script Languages (VBScript, Python)
* Degree Educated in Computer Science, Maths, Science, Engineering or a relatable course
* Experience working with Media Asset Management product development
* Strong communication skills

Desirable Skills for this Engineering Manager Role are:
* C++
* Oracle 11g or SQL
* Windows, Linx and Mac Platforms
* Project management techniques (Agile, Lean, Kanban)

This Engineering Manager role is based in Berkshire; commutable of Reading, Newbury, Basingstoke, Oxford, Swindon.
