Energy Settlements Data Analyst – Winchester – £17,000 to £18,500 plus Bonus
The Settlements Team at Utilita Energy is dedicated to managing the electricity settlement performance of the company`s portfolio, ensuring industry-defined targets are met and that energy volume liability is accurately reflected. They are currently seeking an Energy Settlements Data Analyst to join their team, which is an exciting opportunity for those looking to become part of a fast-growing and innovative business.
The Energy Settlements Data Analyst provides core data quality audits for all meter related industry data received by Utilita Energy. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of industry data relating to all of Utilita Energy`s metering points, through a process of managing data exceptions. The primary focus of this role relates to cleansing the industry data received on a daily basis from third party agents to ensure that Utilita Energy`s settlement liability is reflected accurately.
Utilita Energy is Britain`s leading supplier of smart pre-pay energy, installing every customer with market-leading smart metering equipment. The business, having doubled its customer base in 2015, now serve over 250,000 customers and lead the way in smart pre-pay energy market.
Some of your key responsibilities would involve:
– Resolution of data quality
– Documentation and maintenance of all related business processes
– Ensure efficient flow of information between relevant teams
– Support Invoicing processes when required
– Production of reports reflective of performance in line with Energy Performance Manager`s requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
– Detailed knowledge of electricity industry (desirable)
– Experience of working within Industry Settlements process (desirable)
– Close attention to detail
– Effective organisation skills: Experience of managing a high volume of transactions
– Demonstrable ability to manage high volume workflows and effectively utilise tools for reporting and measuring performance
– Ability to identify issues and drive action plans to remedy performance issues
– Desire to improve processes and procedures without compromising quality
– Strong communication skills: Demonstrable ability to build long term relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) in both a written and verbal format
– Confidence: Ability to make informed decisions, take action and deal with conflict in a professional and mature manner
– Good Microsoft Office computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
– Concern for accuracy and ability to meet tight deadline
– Good People Skills
– Proactive approach in achieving results
– Ability to cope with multiple priorities and changing environment
– Diligent and dependable work ethic
– Mature and professional attitude to work
