Full job description
Brogan Lynch Ltd
Salary: £36,000 – £60,000 per year
My client is an established and independent partnership of chartered Engineers that provide advice and management in the fields of Energy Conservation, Environmental Consultation and Building/Engineering Services and Project Management. My client has some 25 years experience in the industry with an excellent reputation to support this, which has accounted for 80% of their clients being repeat business. Their client portfolio boasts an impressive range of clients across both the public and private sectors, and in addition to providing energy surveys the company also provide other energy and environmental related services. They are now seeking an experienced Energy Consultant/ Energy Engineer to join their team. Our client is flexible in terms of your location as you will be reporting to their Climate Change Support Manager, who is home based in Liverpool. Minimal travel to their offices in the Midlands will be required, as you will be visiting clients located throughout the UK on a regular basis, and the company is also flexible on working from home.
The successful candidate will be required to set up and manage a number of climate change agreements for some of their existing key clients. These will include industrial organisations which are located across the UK, and therefore, the role will involve developing long term relationships with clients to enable them to achieve their energy reduction targets. A key component of the role is to provide regular monitoring of their energy performance against those targets, to ensure that all legal requirements and agreements are satisfied. You will be required to work closely with a portfolio of clients to achieve these energy reductions and to identify cost effective energy efficiency opportunities within buildings and processes. Extensive report writing is essential, which will then be presented to clients at top board level. This opportunity would suit an experienced Energy Engineer that is comfortable working independently to achieve outcomes within agreed timescales. This is an excellent opportunity to join an impressive and expanding organisation. The package will vary depending on experience, but will also include a car/car allowance.
