Client Summary:
Rampart Engineering is a medium sized company based out of Chesterfield who refurbish Brighton Bell stock railways carriages for clients across the UK.
Position Summary
The client is looking for a skilled Electrical Test Technician to join their existing refurbishment team. The successful candidate will be Testing all wiring systems both within and underneath the carriage.
Person Profile/Experience:
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate relevant work experience within the Rolling stock. Testing underframe or internal electrical systems on Railway Carriages, Locomotives or Rail Freight Vehicles.
Qualifications:
Candidates will posses rolling stock Testing experience.
Good communication and team working skills.
You will hold relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, 17th Edition etc.)
You will be a highly self-motivated individual, able to work under your own initiative.
You will possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
You will ideally have knowledge of modern rolling stock systems.
You will ideally have experience of Train depot operations.
