Electrical Design Engineer
Salary/Rate: £43,200 – £46,800+ Bens
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire
An extra ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER is required to join a team working on a wide range of Industrial Electrical Installation projects — designing Power Distribution, Switchgear, Motor Control (MCC), Control Panels and electrical circuitry (Lighting/ Safety Circuits / Emergency Power). A wide range of projects for various industrial, manufacturing clients:
We don’t expect you to be able to cover everything, but experience in 2 or more of the following Electrical Design aspects would be good:
– Electrical Control Panel design, Panel Layouts
– MCC / motor control centre or PLC control panel design
– Electrical control schematic diagrams
– AutoCAD design
– 17th edition electrical, cable sizing
– Electrical circuits (electrical installations, lighting, power, distribution), safety circuit design, loop diagrams
– Risk assessments, method statements
