An experienced Electrical Engineer with multi skilled experience within the commercial office sector in Livinston is required to work for a prestigious client. This position is being offered by a large and well-known FTSE250 FM Outsourcing business. You will be expected to perform tasks in a professional manner to a suitable standard to meet client expectations.

Position requirements
*To operate, maintain and manage efficiently with the minimum of supervision new and existing building services to specified standards as determined by the company. To manage PPM, Day works, Statutory compliance and Call-outs as appropriate.
*To be able to perform maintenance, repair, de-commissioning and re-commissioning of systems and equipment within the scope of their specific disciplines, with the minimum of supervision.
*The job holder shall participate in the functions and activities of the Regional team as required ensuring that all equipment within their control is correctly maintained and repaired, maximising plant efficiency on operation and the safety of all other personnel at all times.

Candidate requirements
* As a minimum, we would expect the Engineer to hold a City & Guilds qualification in a relevant discipline (such as mechanical or electrical), hold a first aid certificate and have undertaken additional training such as manual handling, working in confined spaces (if appropriate).
*The ideal candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship, 17th Edition and C+G 2391 and up to HND level (if possible) and gained experience in a non-domestic environment.
*The successful candidate should have experience of commissioning and decommissioning equipment and PPM, installation and repair, with generator knowledge. Although the role does not have a vehicle attached, they should have a DL as there is more than one Sky site and so there may be travel involved using a fleet vehicle.
