Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year
Our client is a leading global supplier of automated handling equipment and has been developing tailor made solutions for over 65 years. We are delighted to be working with this Nottingham based business to source suitably experienced Electrical Design Engineers to join their team on a permanent basis!
Your Key responsibilities as an Electrical Design Engineer:
* Working with EPLAN to produce Electrical design drawings.
* Preparing (Bill of Materials)
* Working with external suppliers.
* Conducting and participating in design review for new product designs and changes/modifications to existing designs.
* Complete investigation activities and present root cause analysis and solutions.
* Support development of design verification test plans.
* Working with relevant regulations and setting electrical engineering best practice within the R&D Team.
* Supervise electrical technicians and control the build of machine control systems.
* Dealing with all site queries and issues surrounding the design
* Identifying new ideas to improve our products and producing reference designs to prove and implement these concepts, including helping develop a rapid and flexible development process.
You as the new Electrical Design Engineer will bring the following skills & experience:
* Knowledge of Allen Bradley or Siemens control systems
* Working background within an industrial sector (preferred)
* EPLAN (desirable)
* AutoCAD experience
* Understanding of PLC systems
* Ability to work on multiple projects ranging from thousands to millions of pounds.
* Have good commercial awareness.
* An excellent team worker with good organisational skills
* Good communicator
* Excellent Microsoft skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualification’s requirements
* HND in Electrical Engineering or above
* Electrical biased apprenticeship
* 3 Years’ experience (preferred)
