Educational Travel Field Sales Executive

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience travel professional with knowledge of the education sector to join this specialist travel provider. The role is field based covering the Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Birmingham and Warwickshire areas.

Job Description
To secure sales for all products by following up on enquiries, encouraging repeat bookings, servicing inbound calls, using our database of schools to conduct sales campaigns as directed and actively searching for new business.

– To provide support for the Travel Advisers, Team Leader and/or Sales Manager, to ensure all sales campaigns and activities are planned, delivered, delegated and completed by the specified timeframe.
– Contributing to the sales team as a senior team member by providing support and guidance when / where required.
– Report on the outcomes of the sales campaigns and to ensure that each sales contact has been accounted for.
– Identifying and acting on key sales opportunities to deliver team and individual target
– Converting all enquiries into sales whether they are from telephone, web, email or face to face sales.
– Identifying up-sell opportunities for all products, and switch selling where possible according to the needs of the business
– Actively seek face to face meetings with party leaders – where deemed logistically appropriate
– To promote products to clients as/when required. This may include school visit and parent’s evenings.

Experience Required
The suitable candidate will have a strong travel background, be knowledgeable about the education sector and ideally have knowledge of the ski industry and general educational trips.

Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary up to £36,000plus commission as well as a monthly car allowance.
