ECT of Design Technology

Salary: £32,338 – £34,594 per year

Strategy Education are one of the preferred suppliers to a large Multi Academy Trust with schools throughout London and Essex.

We are actively recruiting for one of their Academies on the Essex / London border who are keen to hear from ECTs of Design Technology. Students in the school have access to the complete DT curriculum but the new member of the team will ideally specialise in the product design / resistant materials side of the curriculum. The ideal candidate will be able to offer their subject through all the secondary key stages including A Level. You will be expected to become an integral part of the department and work collaboratively across the wider school.

The trust provides excellent support for trainee teachers and those entering into the ECT pathway. You will have a mentor, have the time to work with other ECTs whilst also observing examples of best practice in various classroom settings.

All contracts are permanent, you will be employed directly by the school and paid in line with Teachers Pay and Conditions.

The successful candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
