Ecommerce Merchandiser

Salary: £26,400 – £30,000 per year

In this interesting and varied role, you will look at the current market, evaluate prices and trends and set competitive prices for your products. You will publish your product details online and write product descriptions.

THE ROLE

* Monitoring product listings and performance

* Setting pricing margins to maximise sales

* Creating new product listings

* Working closely with the buying and marketing team with regards to stock availability

* Supporting customer services and sales staff with product and pricing queries

* Developing and present KPI reports on performance

* Making changes to improve the customer experience

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Previous experience of setting prices for online products/ margin management or similar

* Strong knowledge of MS Excel to include vlookups, pivot tables and formulas

* A degree in the following areas: eCommerce, Merchandising, Marketing, Purchasing would be desirable

* Experience of working with product databases

* Experience of working in an ecommerce environment would be beneficial

* Strong IT skills and numeracy

* High attention to detail and accuracy
