Our client are a leading Facilities Management company who specialise in the Security, Cleaning and waste & environmental sectors. The are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Controller to monitor and manage Security systems, equipment and staff. The successful candidate will also manage all aspects of Cleaning and environmental services to Wembley Central. To provide customers with a secure, clean and safe environment in all common areas of the Centre and Car Park.
This is a temporary position however could lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
This is based on a shift pattern of Nights and days. The successful candidate must be able to cover both shifts.
Responsibilities:-
– To supervise all staff and Control Room on a day shift pattern basis.
– To ensure correct manning levels.
– Uniforms are correct and clean & tidy.
– To monitor CCTV camera’s logging recording incidents and maintaining CCTV Disc and tapes to the specified CCTV Code of Practice.
– Monitoring of a Building Management System, logging and reporting specified requirements and taking appropriate action as required.
– Maintain radio communication with other staff and management, as well as controlling through staff, the issue and logging of all radio equipment.
– Record the issue of keys, Control Room visitors and the attendance of staff.
– Maintain a white board message system and control of known offender files.
– Assist in the control of evacuations and other emergency incidents
– Control Service Yard access through the barriers and intercom system, and vehicle circulation.
– Monitor all areas for cleanliness, H & S, and Maintenance, reporting to the Facilities Manager.
– To facilitate the reports of incidents, and occurrences on a daily basis to re Management. Monthly report on staff and any information that will help with the day to day running of the Centre.
– Carry out hand over briefing to other controllers on shift changes..
– Liaison with police.
– Remain vigilant to suspicious packages and situations in the Centre, report and logging in through control.
