Driver / Handyman

Part time Driver / Handyman required to work in a Care home in the Leeds 8 area. You MUST hold a D1 catagory driving licence. The work is 2 full days Thursday and Friday and will involve driving and some maintenance duties. You will need to be DRB checked for this position.

Duties to include:

Day to day repairs and maintenance of unit vehicle and buildings.

Reporting of any defects to the buildings/grounds/vehicles or fixtures and fittings and report to line manager and where appropriate repair or replace.

Support people who use their services to safely access the service minibus and escort them to their destination.

To have the knowledge and skills to safely use the lifting equipment safely and correctly.

To maintain the grounds by grass cutting/weeding/fence management and agreed planting programme.

This list is not exhaustive and for the right person will become permanent role with approximately 25-30 hours per week.
