Salary: £17.02 per hour
£17.02 per hour plus quarterly bonus, Sheffield, Temporary Ongoing, 4 week rota combined of mornings, nights and afternoons, immediate Start, free car parking, Weekly Pay, 28 days paid annual leave (increasing after time) excellent overtime.
Due to a recent increase in orders we are currently FLT Drivers to work for a worldwide engineering company who is proud of their extremely healthy order book. The opportunity is to join their Finishing Team on a long-term temporary basis with the potential for a permanent position for the right FLT Driver. Reporting to the Finishing Manager, your duties will include:
- Driving counterbalance forklift trucks with pole attachment around the yard and shop floor
- Moving components and raw materials as required
- Strapping, weighing, and labelling steel coils ready for dispatch
Previous experience of driving FLT Counterbalance is essential. This role would also be an ideal opportunity for anyone who has worked as a forklift driver, Counterbalance driver, packer, warehouse operative, production operator or a despatch operative within an engineering, production, manufacturing, or steelworks environment. Hours
Working on a 4 week rota including a combination of working mornings, nights and afternoons including some weekend work. 1 in 4 weekends you will be off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 1 in 4 weekends you will work 6am – 2pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No Saturday night shifts involved. Within a 4 week period you will have 2 Saturdays off and work 1 x 6am – 2pm shift and 1 x 2pm – 8pm shift on the other remaining Saturdays (Full copy of rota available during interview).
- Night shift – 8pm – 6am
- Afternoon shift – 2pm – 8pm
- Morning shift – 6am – 2pm
