Courier Driver

Logistics Experts Ltd are based in Banbury and Birmingham. We are currently looking to develop our courier team for a global retail customer out of their depot in Banbury.

The Role:
– Delivering on AVERAGE 100 deliveries a day.
– Working 5 days over 7 on a rota basis, so weekends will be included.
– Assisting team drivers from time to time with their workload.
– Delivering south of Banbury, furthest point is 1 hour away until your 1st delivery.
– Self employed role.

Requirements:
– Multi drop experience preferred but not essential.
– Own van or must be willing to hire or lease one (we can point you in the right direction).
– Van must be covered for hire & reward and goods in transit insurance for £25,000.
– Must have not more than 6 points and pass a CRB and drug & alcohol test as part of the vetting criteria.
– Flexible approach to the operation as this is a fast paced environment.
– Customer service focused and happy to work hard to achieve service levels.
– Must deliver until all deliveries have been completed, there is no set finish time.

Benefits:
– £115 a day + fuel allowance + Bonus Incentives (potential extra £10-£20 a day, subject to achieving targets).
– Work extra days if available.
