Domestic Energy Assessor (Remote)

V-Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking, fast-growing Property Services Company to recruit Domestic Energy Assessors to work remotely across the UK.

We are looking for DEA qualified Energy Assessors to work throughout the Yorkshire, Staffordshire, and Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire areas.

The overall purpose of the role would be to attend properties around your region, to carry out Energy Performance Assessments on the property. Whilst inspecting the properties, you will assess the overall condition, producing an EPC and Capex Profile.

Your duties will include:

• Visiting properties to carry out inventories and property inspection reports with supporting photographic evidence
• Producing an iSurvey for each property
• Gathering data to produce a Capex profile report that details expected costs to maintain the property efficiently for a 20year period, based on its current condition i.e., expected lifespan of roof, boiler, windows etc.
• Providing assessments of properties to recommend energy saving measures
• Carrying out some practical tasks if required, such as drilling key boxes and measuring properties/producing floor plans

Job Specifics

This is a permanent, full-time position

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working hours are between 8.30am-5.30pm with flexibility with start/finish times

This is a fully remote role – you will be responsible for travelling in your vehicle to the properties, Mileage will be paid as an expense.

Candidate Requirements

The right candidate will have their Domestic Energy Assessor qualification and relevant insurance and be City & Guilds Level 3 certified in Domestic Energy Assessment

You will need to be DBS checked, as you will be attending a mixture of tenanted and vacant properties

The role requires proficiency in the use of an iPad and Dropbox
