Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year
Our client, a food manufacturing company based in Middlesbrough, who is going through a period of growth is looking to add a dedicated member to their team. The vacancy is a Dispatch Manager. This offers a salary of £30,000 – £33,600per annum, depending on experience.
The company operates 7 days per week so the Manager would be expected to work any 5 days out of 7. Shift times start as early as 6 am and you will need to be flexible with finish times as these may vary depending on the workload that day.
Key duties and responsibilities within this role include:
* Managing a team of around 20 (currently maximum of 15 per day) to ensure products are picked & packed correctly and ready for delivery to customers the following day
* Managing the training and development of team members
* Ensuring hygiene and safety regulations are met at all times
* Loading HGV vehicles nightly
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Managing a team of staff
* Food manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous
* Positivity and drive to motivate a team and implement changes
* Knowledge of picking systems
* Ability to implement changes
* Experience following strict hygiene regulations
Desirable Experience:
* FLT licence
