Dispatch Goods in Manager

We are urgently looking for a dispatch / goods in manager

Job Description:

Our client in Leicestershire are currently looking to recruit a Dispatch/ Goods In Manager to join their team to manage the department. Ensuring that goods are packed appropriately and dispatched to achieve customer delivery dates and that dates for receipt of material purchases are achieved.

Job Duties
The role will include:

• Ensure all jobs are despatched / booked out on time to achieve OTD of 90% or more
• Reduce despatch costs and improve quality of packing and shipping
• Ensure all staff have clocked in on time

Main Duties

• Liaise with Laser, Fabrication and paint shop managers/supervisors
• Ensure staff are logged onto TTF and are completing job packs fully and accurately
• Ensure all jobs are wrapped / packed according to customer specifications
• Organise goods in so that parts/materials are due for delivery dates
• Manage terms of overtime, holiday requests, absence, and training needs in line with company policies

• Organised, resilient, energetic, proactive and results driven
• Clear communicator with good influencing and motivational skills
• Experience with a busy goods in / out department, preferably engineering
• Able to prioritise workloads and delegate accordingly
