Dispatch Manager

Nation Recruit are currently seeking to hire on a permanent basis for the role of Dispatch Manager. Our client is an well renowned Manufacturer and Distributor of interior products on both a local & international basis. Working as part of a vibrant, enthusiastic and motivated team, the Dispatch Manager will play a key part in delivering to the Sales demands in both bespoke one-off orders through to volume UK & International orders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Organising Warehouse to ensure efficient running including workflow planning of the dispatch operation
– Managing Warehouse employees including participating in the recruitment process for Warehouse staff
– Stock management
– Undertake analysis to identify trends, root causes and recommend corrective actions
– Ensuring Health & Safety practices are adhered to
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Warehouse
– Other ad hoc duties as required

In order to be successful in the role you will need to have experience within Dispatch Management, Supervisor and above. You will be able to demonstrate previous working examples of driving efficiency within your role and delivering to changing demands and handling stock levels accordingly. You will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to communicate across both the Office and Warehouse divisions. Finally, you will require strong computer literacy and a knowledge of Export regulations and guidelines for packing.
