Our Client is a social change society with a network of worldwide Fellows committed to finding better ways of thinking about and delivering change.
A crucial priority for the Society is the next step in the development and launch of new digital services for their Fellows and have already completed the initial first stage of this process. They now seek an experienced Digital Delivery Manager/Project manager to execute the next stage delivery of their road map for the Digital Services project with the delivery for the staged roll-out of new digital services for their membership of circa 30,000.

* Experienced at delivering projects where the subscribers/users are public or external members to the organisation
* Experienced at transitioning services onto a new platform and the decommissioning of Legacy system services
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Effective delivery of the Society’s digital services for Fellows, as defined through the 1st Phase project, utilising agile project practices.
Plan and manage the procurement of the new digital services required for the 2nd stages, which will be iterated and developed throughout the staged roll-out.
Ensure the project is managed to a high standard, on time and to budget, steering our digital services towards the delivery of maximum benefits and minimal ongoing Legacy of cost and complexity.
Ensure a framework for measuring the success of the various elements of each service is developed and implemented, and that data gathering mechanisms and evaluation on the project is managed effectively.
Take ownership of the master plan for this implementation, identifying the practical actions, risks and dependencies at each stage.
Develop a plan for mitigating risks/log issues throughout and addressing dependencies related to the Society’s existing digital services and technical infrastructure that impact the project.
Ensure that a clearly defined Beta testing process is developed and delivered effectively, coordinating relevant colleagues, stakeholders and delivery partners.
Lead on the delivery of the prioritised roadmap and recommendations identified in the 1st Stage towards a staged roll out of the new Fellowship digital services.
Deliver a roadmap for ongoing service optimisation and management of live updates.
Ensure that the delivery of the digital service solutions supports the Society’s digital architecture principles, builds on best practice and is implemented in a coherent and complimentary way.
Identify how the digital services will integrate with (or start to replace) existing digital services. Plan and deliver the migration and closing of Legacy services as appropriate.
LEADERSHIP
Ensure clear communication and engagement plans are developed to realise effective engagement with our Fellows, supported by effective communication strategies with staff and other key stakeholders.
Take the lead in driving advocacy for the project, building relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation and externally as required.
Ensure all internal and external project meetings are run efficiently and effectively and that the right people are engaged at the right time.
Ensure the project continues to work in an open way, coordinating all Show and Ask sessions and other opportunities to engage with Fellows, staff and other stakeholders, balancing this need with the pace that is required.
*This is a partially remote role with onsite attendance to London WC2 required two days per week*
